What permissions does Brick need access to on my device and why?
In order to use Brick successfully on your Android device, you'll need to grant the following permissions.
(1) Alarms & Reminders: Bricks needs to set exact alarms to activate your scheduling blocking sessions at the right time.
(2) Usage Access: Brick needs usage access to monitor app usage and enforce blocking rules effectively.
(3) Display Overlay: Brick needs overlay permission to display blocking screens over other apps when they're restricted.
(4) Notification Access: Bricks needs notification access to monitor and manage notifications during blocking sessions.
(5) Post Notifications: Bricks needs notification permission to send you important updates about your blocking sessions.
(6) Accessibility Service: Brick needs accessibility service access to monitor and block distracting apps.
If you turn Strict Mode on, Brick will also need Device Admin Permission to provide enhanced security and prevent unauthorized app uninstallation. This permission helps protect your blocking settings.
