Top Tips from the Brick Community
Our Brick community has found so many valuable ways to use Brick, and we want to share them with you! If you have a tip to share, leave it for us here.
Bedtime routine: Brick and good sleep hygiene go together. A daily Sleep Brick schedule starting at a regular time can keep your mind and body in sync, winding down together. It'll put the good in good night. - Todd
Habit stacking: Use the Brick to help you build other good habits at the same time! I have my phone bricked during the work day. If I want to unbrick it to check my messages, I have to drink 8 oz. of water first. After checking in, I rebrick the phone and go back to work. - Jennifer
Stay present on the go: Keep a brick in the car! It is a great way to stay present whenever you go somewhere! Whenever I go to coffee shops or run general errands, being bricked helps me stay focused and present. - Eloise
Productivity hour: Brick your phone for an hour each day and jot down a list of 4-5 cleaning tasks you'd like to achieve. Examples: Dishes, fold laundry, vacuum, etc. By the time that hour is up, you will be surprised how much you've accomplished and now you have a clean environment to keep your mind/home organized! - Victoria
Be intentional: Write out reasons for why taking breaks from your phone is important to you. Put that list near your brick and make yourself read it before unbricking. - Bethany
Keep your Brick out of reach: Keep your Brick in a drawer or somewhere that's not visible. Then, you have to intentionally choose to unbrick. - Maggie
Brick from anywhere: Hold the Brick icon in the app for 5 seconds to activate if you're away from your Brick. - Hudson
Brick with friends: I got together with a group recently and we were all Bricked, and it reminded all of us how much more fun it is to socialize and catch up with each other without distraction. Grab an extra Brick this holiday season for a friend or family member and feel the positive effects multiply! - Megan
